By having an itinerary and a list of responsibilities will help us to keep organised by keeping track of our progress.

For this task I needed to film a few short videos of a walk in a woods during the day. However, I needed to get some footage of things that looked interesting and this is what concerned me the most as well as what the weather was going to be like. Fortunately I went for a walk in Sankey woods in Dartmouth, which has a few interesting features, and i went on a day that was frosty but the sun was still shining brightly.

Write script, design, edit and create short intro video.

Being the one of the largest, most difficult tasks; this will require a team effort. We will need to design a script to interest and hook the viewer into a state of wanting more information about us. This will allow us to end the video with something along the lines of “Read on for more information”, to segway into the bulk of the information. We will also have to advertise our image and music in this video by accompanying it with our personalities and artistic styles to demonstrate our uniqueness. Editing the video will be quite a challenge for me and Luke as neither of us have much experience in editing videos.

Website/ EPK design.

This task is also one of the largest and most difficult tasks and will require a team effort. For this we will research some examples of ,what are considered, some good/bad EPK’s- allowing us to base our design on already successful pieces.

Find out what information we need in order to cater for a wide audience/range of purposes

Being a vital task for the completion of most other tasks; this will have multiple segments and therefore multiple completion dates depending on the priority and necessity of the attached projects. We should be able to get this information from research and by discussing amongst ourselves, peers and teachers.

Firstly will will get the information needed for the introductory video. Secondly will come the information for the website/ EPK- research of the information needed for this will be done throughout the creation of the press pack.

We will need to present ourselves in a marketable light, whilst also portraying our personalities and unique selling point. We will have to consider how we want to best display these things. Whether that means we wear costumes, have a filter on the camera, whether we use a good quality camera or our phones, what style we use, and what environment we want it to be in (the woods/beach/city/college).

Review of progress

We will have to analyse our progress to make sure what we have is going well and to make any changes to our plans now that we know how they pan out practically. We can also use this opportunity to gain the opinions of others.
