The attic is a nightclub and is therefore more commonly known for drum and bass music with numerous dj’s and some well established acts. Unfortunately none of our bands/acts in the group play this style of music.

The lime tree have been known to be more focused on the money rather than supporting local college students in promoting themselves. So therefore small acts have no chance there. Despite this, the lime tree has great accessibility as it is not far from college and right next to a bus station.

The jolly farmer is known for supporting new, up-and-coming artists of  an age similar to our own. Acts that have performed there in the past have shown that the venue and audience are not particularly fussy about the quality of professionalism, which means that those of us who are not greatly confident in performing in front of an audience can relax a bit.
